MERCI (people's law firm)-060-FPU — Nathalie Lozano Blanco is the head of Merci People's Law Firm. She obtained a law degree from the University of Rosario and received a master’s degree in International Economic Law at the University of Paris. From her early experience in large law firms, Nathalie realized that it was necessary to grant access to high-quality legal services to more people. The large law firms she worked for were models of excellence and professionalism, but by their nature, they were limited for a certain kind of people with economic capacity. Over time, her fundamental professional purpose became building an international law firm for the people. At first, she didn't know how to make it a reality. She spent nearly two years knocking on people´s doors affected by common problems. She worked hard to achieve small victories for these people. In 2013, she began to see that dream coming true: she got over 1500 women victims of PIP breast implants, most of them Colombians, to join in a lawsuit against TÜV Rheinland, the quality certifier of PIP implants. At that time, there were only 40 victims represented in that claim, from that moment the PIP lawsuit became a massive international claim. Today, there are over 13,000 women represented by her in that claim; she obtained positive decisions from every French Court at all stages; provisional compensations exceed the 40 million euros; and in 2022 the Toulon Commercial Court determined final compensations from 9000 to 40000 euros for each victim. Today, her firm Merci People's Law Firm (formerly Lozano Blanco) is known as a leading firm in collective litigation, has alliances with renowned lawyers in European law, and is planning to take action against other major implant manufacturers.

MERCI (people's law firm)-225-FPU — He is a co-founder of our firm. He is an economist from the University of Los Andes, where he also obtained a master's degree in law. His professional career has always been closely related to the law; in fact, he was a professor of Economic Analysis of Law at his alma mater. For over 20 years, he worked as a consultant in the design of public institutions, both in terms of rules and organizations. In recent years, he has shifted away from consulting to focus on business development, which is his passion. Nathalie Lozano

MERCI (people's law firm)-038-FPU — Christian is the link between everything that happens at Merci. He is the memory and the future. He was Merci's first junior lawyer and is now a partner and the principal person responsible for coordinating all its areas. Christian has the general overview of everything we do. He is convinced that the integration of law and technology is a must for expanding the reach and impact of the law, and his mind is a combination of both. He is a lawyer and political scientist from the University of Los Andes, and has a degree in taxation. His main areas of professional interest are the regulation of the production and control of medical devices, financial consumer law, and competition law.

MERCI (people's law firm)-168-FPU — Nicolas Piñeros is responsible for managing our brand. Although he obtained a law degree from Pontificia Javeriana University and has a passion for law, he finds his greatest fulfillment in project execution. He loves making things happen, and it's not in vain that his second profession is being a cook, where action and coordination are a constant imperative. Many people recognize him for successfully participating in a tv show as a chef and havig a low-cost restaurant with one of South America's most renowned chefs. At Merci, we don't cook, but for him, it's as if we do: the ingredients, technique, and timing must result in the best possible customer experience.

MERCI (people's law firm)-075-FPU — Camila is recently graduated lawyer; she obtained her law degree from the Externado University of Colombia. Alongside her law studies, she completed internships at the Colombian Mission to the World Trade Organization and currently leads the Research Line on the Study of International Law and Political and Economic Integration Processes at her alma mater. She has always been an outstanding student, committed to developing a professional career focused in serving others and seeking justice for as many people as possible, particularly for women. She is part of the Research and Legal Development team at Merci People's Law Firm.

MERCI (people's law firm)-141-FPU — One of his greatest aspirations is to "drive improvements in society through the practice of law." His experience as a lawyer has been primarily related to consumer protection. He graduated as a lawyer from Pontificia Javeriana University and later completed a master's degree in law from the University of Los Andes. At a young age, he already has experience as a university professor. Carlos Andrés is a tireless hard worker who is only satisfied when he feels he has reviewed every detail of the subjects he is responsible for. That's why we are pleased to have him on the Research and Legal Development team at Merci.
